“An Example Of Political Implosion!”

Senator John McCain, has been the republican party nominee, and participant to one of the most disgracefully managed presidential campaigns in The United States’ history. His steady stream of lies; contradictions, and bending of truth, has proven to be one of the disqualifying cornerstones for the role he seeks.  The position of Commander and Chief, is one that should not be taken lightly. For it is more than a job of authority, it is position that demands truth, honor, and selflessness. Just being a “wild cat” navy pilot, graduating 5th lowest at Annapolis, and shot down while pursuing the family tradition of military service, does not automatically qualify an individual for this tremendous responsibility. Not saying that his deeds and  suffering are not admired, they alone do not merit this country’s seal of approval needed for presidency.

Sen. McCain is a man known for his anger issues, outdated sense of diplomacy, questionable sense of humor, with sporadic judgement as the cherry on top. Just 5 months ago, while being interviewed, was asked about his campaign strategy he quickly replied, “Americans want a respectful campaign, they do, they want it “. He then admits that negative campaigns do get votes. Then states, “But do we need to go to the lowest common denominator? I don’t think so… we want this race to be run on issues.”

So when polling numbers continuously rose in favor of Sen. Obama, that’s when the barrage of verbal knee capping and advertising smears were born. When questioned about this behavior, reporters were overwhelmed with a flood of double talk, that would be the envy of the finest snake oil salesmen. I’ve lost count of how many times McCain justified these actions by claiming, ” I offered Sen. Obama the opportunity to join me weekly town hall debates, and he decline my offer “, as if this justified his contradicting,  documented statement, that offered a  “respectful” campaign.

So when Obama became fed up with this foolishness, and began to fight back, the GOP had the gall to cry fowl because their dishonorable campaign practices had backfired. Thee smears achieved to no effect because the open minded accepted them for what they were– lies and subtle acts of racial profiling. This insulted the voter’s intelligence and groups being portrayed. These lies and bending of truth, resulted in the rise of polling numbers for Sen. Obama. The Obama camp’s ability to debunk these acts  of desperation, only proved the Senator’s ability to lead by example. This exemplary maintenance  of composure earned him worldwide respect, and support, which McCain’s questionable behavior will never experience.

I must admit, for a while this ridiculous behavior came to a halt, only to return with an act described as, “the throwing of the kitchen sink”. The GOP chose to launch vicious assaults at the Senators choice of brief experience with William Ayers, a that planned and was punished for his plot to bomb government buildings just by his radical beliefs. This became a reformed citizen after his punishment for this crime, and is currently a professor at a Chicago University. The GOP then stooped to the use of his (Hussein) as a profiling scare tactic, and began questioning his list of financial donors, with the suggestion of Islamic support. And of course Barrack Hussein Obama would be the leader of this unGodly coup d’etat. The Republican party planned this so close to the election date assuming, the Democratic party would not have time to launch an effective counter assault. They did not consider the possibility of Obama having an ace his sleeve…well he did!

Yesterday the Democratic party launched a 13 minute video on the Internet reminding voters of McCain’s alleged involvement with the “Keating 5″. This piece of cinematography was obviously created months ago and may just be the last nail in McCain’s self-built coffin. It was first distributed to Obama supporters and delegates with instructions to share it by posting and distribution… which I am about to do.

In Closing I would like to say, “My Name Is R.E.Mitchell(Texas Delegate) And I Support This Message!
